Aiken Technical College is recruiting Transitional Studies Mathematics Adjunct Instructors. You will provide instruction including hands-on and theory, manage the classroom, and handle related administrative tasks such as reports, syllabus and lesson plan development.

Responsibilities include preparing current course syllabi, ensuring alignment with the syllabus, recommending instructional materials, and supervising students. This is an adjunct, part-time teaching role at ATC.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mathematics or a Master's with 18 graduate hours in mathematics required.

Responsibilities

• Instruction including hands on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development.
• Prepare and maintain current course syllabi for the course taught.
• Ensure that course is taught in accordance with the established syllabi.
• Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for course.
• Recommend adequate laboratory facilities/equipment for assigned course.
• Supervision of students.
