Job summary

Merced Community College District in Merced, CA is seeking a part-time Mathematics Adjunct to teach a range of courses from fundamentals through transfer level. The maximum teaching load is 10 units per semester, with potential evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Teach mathematics from fundamentals to transfer level.
Maintain up-to-date course outlines and expectations.
Inform students about requirements, evaluation procedures and attendance policies.
Maintain accurate attendance and scholastic records.
Prepare and grade assignments and exams.
Post and maintain regular office hours per policy.
Participate in curriculum development and teaching-learning methods.
Engage in department and campus professional activities/ committees.
Contribute to learning outcomes assessment programs.
Submit grades on time to admissions and records.
