Capital Region Math’s Loudonville Mathnasium center seeks a part-time Math Instructor who loves math and working with teens. You'll teach grades 6-12 from pre-algebra through precalculus, using our structured Mathnasium Method. Training provided, supportive team, and meaningful after-school impact.

Shifts are Mon-Thu 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Sat 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. This role emphasizes patience, clear explanations, and building student confidence in a collaborative center environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of math through at least Algebra II; higher-level math is a plus.
• Friendly, patient, and able to build rapport with teens.
• Able to explain math concepts clearly and encourage students along the way.
• Comfortable following a structured teaching method (training provided).
• Available to work at least two consistent shifts per week.
• Must be able to work in person during our center hours.

Mathnasium of Loudonville, locally operated by Capital Region Math, is hiring part-time Math Instructors who enjoy math and working with teens. You'll support middle and high school students in building confidence and skills, from pre-algebra through precalculus.

At Mathnasium, we don't just help students get the right answers-we help them understand why. You'll guide students through customized learning plans, offer encouragement, and create an environment where they feel successful in math.

Our Loudonville center is conveniently located on Osborne Road near Siena College and several local schools.

• Work with grades 6-12 students on middle school math through pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and precalculus
• Use the Mathnasium Method to guide students through personalized learning materials (we provide all training and materials)
