Job summary

Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) seeks a part-time Student Learning Facilitator III - Math Tutor at Rio Salado College. The role provides in-person, targeted math tutoring to students, with sessions in small groups or one-on-one, requiring a campus presence.

Hours are 9 AM–1 PM or 5 PM–9 PM, Monday–Thursday. You must hold a Master’s degree in mathematics or a related field and have completed math courses with high marks.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher required for role.
• Completion of math courses with at least a B (preferably A).
• Experience supporting student learning is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to clarify course content and promote understanding.
• Attend tutor trainings and maintain a productive on-site tutoring environment.
