Job summary

Mathnasium LLC. is seeking part-time math tutors in Tacoma, WA to work with students across multiple grade levels using the Mathnasium Method. The center-based role focuses on engaging, patient instruction and ongoing development.

You will join a team dedicated to helping students understand, master, and love math, with flexible but consistent hours and opportunities for advancement at the center.

Qualifications

• Strong math proficiency through calculus.
• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• High motivation, commitment, patience, and enthusiasm.
• Classroom and/or one-on-one mathematics teaching experience is a plus.
• Desire to work through the entire school year is required.

Responsibilities

• Work with a variety of students at different grade levels.
• Provide math instruction using the Mathnasium Method.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
• Attend to students during center hours and foster a positive learning environment.
