Job summary

Mathnasium Learning Centers in Texas is seeking a part-time math tutor to guide students using our Mathnasium Method. You’ll work after school and on weekends, helping students understand, master, and love math within a supportive team.

The role emphasizes engaging with K-12 students, assessing progress, and utilizing digital educational resources while maintaining a safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and helping students learn.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage kids.
• Willingness to learn and be trained.
• Strong math skills through Algebra I or higher.
• Successful completion of math literacy test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center using Mathnasium Method.
• Collaborate with team to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students' learning progress and engagement.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
