The Ladder Method, Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking experienced tutors to join our private education team.

This part-time role focuses on in-person math tutoring for Algebra I–Calculus and related subjects, with approximately 10–15 hours per week. You’ll work with high-net-worth families, providing personalized instruction and flexible scheduling in West Los Angeles and surrounding areas, including Beverly Hills and Santa Monica.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Strong academic background in Math, Physics, Chemistry or related field.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience required.
• Experience working with high-net-worth families strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with LA independent schools highly desired.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, polished, and highly reliable.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Available for weekday afternoons/evenings and at least one weekend day (preferably Sunday).
• Available for approximately 10–15 hours per week.

This is a part time position, approximately 10–15 hours a week. Hours depend on the nature of client requests.

We Are Specifically Seeking Tutors With Strong Proficiency In Math

• Algebra I
• Algebra II
• Geometry
• Precalculus
• Trigonometry
• Calculus AB and/or BC
• Statistics

Proficiency in Science subjects is a plus, but not required.

We are looking for individuals to work in-person in Los Angeles.

The main areas we serve are:

• West areas: Santa Monica, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades
• Central areas: Beverly Hills, Cheviot Hills, Bel-Air, Hancock Park
• East areas: Silver Lake, Echo Park, Los Feliz
• San Fernando Valley: Sherman Oaks, Burbank, Tarzana, Reseda, Pasadena

We are currently hiring for both immediate placement and the upcoming school year.

• $45-$65 per hour (based on experience and education)

Compensation is for in-person tutoring and is determined by experience, subject expertise, and education.
