Job summary

The Ladder Method, Inc. is seeking part-time in-person tutors in the Los Angeles area to support students in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Precalculus, Trigonometry, and Calculus AB/BC. Candidates should have strong math background and prior tutoring experience, with a focus on high-net-worth families.

We value reliability, excellent communication, and the ability to work 10–15 hours weekly, including some weekend availability. Mileage reimbursement and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Strong academic background in Math, Physics, Chemistry or related field.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience required.
• Experience working with high-net-worth families strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with LA independent schools highly desired.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, polished, and highly reliable.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Available for weekday afternoons/evenings and at least one weekend day (preferably Sunday).
• Available for approximately 10–15 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person tutoring in listed math subjects in the Los Angeles area.
• Engage with high-net-worth families to deliver personalized educational support.
• Coordinate sessions around client requests and availability.
• Maintain professional, reliable communication with clients and the company.
