Job summary

Mathnasium in San Marino, CA is seeking enthusiastic Math Instructors for the 2026-2027 school year, starting September 2026. You will work directly with students in a collaborative learning environment, delivering individualized instruction using the Mathnasium Method™ and participating in comprehensive paid training.

Our instructors support students from kindergarten through middle school, helping them build confidence, strengthen understanding, and develop procedural fluency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic arithmetic and algebra I
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and reliability

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized math instruction using the Mathnasium Method™
• Support students from kindergarten through middle school with varying skill levels
• Guide students through personalized learning plans
• Help students develop conceptual understanding and problem-solving strategies
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations with Center Leadership
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment
• Build relationships with students and families through excellent service
• Maintain instructional standards and support behavior expectations
• Collaborate with staff to ensure student success
• Assist with assessments and center duties as needed
