Job summary

Mathnasium in Pasadena, CA is hiring Math Instructors for the 2026-2027 school year, starting September 2026. You'll work with students in a collaborative setting, delivering Mathnasium Method instruction and participating in paid training.

This part-time, in-person role offers flexible scheduling (3–4 weekdays) and opportunities for advancement, bonuses, and growth in teaching and leadership. Ideal candidates are near high school diploma with strong math skills and a passion for helping

Qualifications

• Within one year of earning your high school diploma.
• Strong arithmetic and Algebra I skills demonstrated via test.
• Excellent work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized math instruction using the Mathnasium Method.
• Support students from kindergarten through middle school with varying levels.
• Guide students through personalized learning plans to build confidence.
• Help students develop conceptual understanding, fluency, and problem-solving.
• Monitor progress and communicate observations with leadership and instructors.
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment and provide customer service.
• Maintain instructional standards and support behavior expectations.
• Collaborate with team to ensure student success and center experience.
• Assist with student assessments and center activities as needed.
