Job summary

The tutor will conduct scheduled or on-demand sessions, help with daily tutoring operations, and work independently with minimal supervision in a campus environment. Training and support are provided to ensure quality student assistance.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate knowledge of or have an A in Algebra and/or Statistics.
• Exceptional customer service with clear, tactful communication.
• Sound judgment and ability to resolve problems independently or with manager assistance as needed.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality with sensitive student information.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to student success.
• Works in a normal office environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate academic success by offering tutoring sessions to clarify course concepts, review class materials, discuss textbook content, and work through practice problems.
• Conduct tutoring sessions either in person or via Zoom, on a scheduled or as-needed basis.
• Assist with day-to-day tutoring operations while working independently under minimal supervision.
• Performs other duties as requested.
