Sylvan Learning Center is seeking a Math Tutor to help students excel with individualized or small-group instruction. You will guide learners through math concepts, track progress, and provide constructive feedback in a supportive setting.

The role focuses on hands-on tutoring and building student confidence, with opportunities to develop teaching techniques, assess growth, and contribute to a positive learning experience.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring in a formal or informal setting.
• Ability to build rapport with students and support learning.
• Solid knowledge of math topics from K through 12.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in non-classroom, one-on-one or small-group settings.
• Build relationships to boost student confidence and motivation.
• Document and communicate student progress and outcomes.
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve.
