Job summary

Sylvan Learning in Mineola is seeking an energetic Math Tutor to join our team as a part-time instructor. You will provide personalized math instruction across grades from K through Algebra 2, helping students understand concepts and prepare for tests.

Shifts are available Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-7pm. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a math-related field and prior tutoring experience. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in a math related field is required.
• Prior tutoring experience preferred.

As a math teacher at Sylvan you will assist students in helping them understand educational concepts, complete assignments, and prepare for tests. Your goal is to help students to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is reliable, understanding, and has a passion for education!

We are currently looking for part-time math teachers. You will provide personalized instruction in Math at all grade levels through Algebra 2. Shifts are available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-7pm.
