Tutor Doctor Pearland is seeking part-time instructors to teach Math subjects like Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus in the Pearland and Friendswood areas. The ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of the local curriculum and will have teaching or tutoring experience.

This role offers a flexible schedule to work around your commitments, and we bring the students to you for personalized, one-on-one tutoring sessions. Competitive hourly rates offered based on experience.

Qualifications

Job Overview

Currently seeking part‑time instructors, teachers and tutors who can teach Math to junior high to high school grade levels, including Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre‑Calculus and Calculus, in the Pearland and Friendswood areas.

The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about the TEKS and skilled in teaching local curriculum, study skills, and other content relevant to junior high to high school levels.

Our Tutors

• Full‑time or part‑time teachers who are actively teaching currently
• Preferably certified teachers, substitute teachers or paraprofessionals
• Teacher aides and/or paraprofessionals with classroom experience
• Special Education teachers
• Retired teachers
• Substitute teachers with teaching experience
• Professionals who are subject matter experts with teaching experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/diploma preferred
• Teacher's certification preferred
• Understanding of the local curriculum
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in teaching and/or tutoring
• Ability to create personalized tutoring session plans
• Strong typing, PC, and recording skills
• Reliable transportation (must be available)
