Job summary

Bethany Community School in Bethany, Connecticut is seeking a Math Tutor to support students PK–6. The role involves helping individuals or small groups succeed, and assisting the teacher to maintain an effective classroom environment.

The schedule is 28.75 hours per week, with a pay rate of $50 per hour. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree or higher and CT certification in Elementary Education, Special Education, or Mathematics preferred.

Qualifications

The Math Tutor is responsible for providing academic support to individual students or small groups of students to help them succeed. Assists the teacher in providing a well-organized, smoothly functioning class environment in which students can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials.

Work Schedule: 28.75 hours per week/5.75 hours per day/9:00 am to 3:15 pm
