Blackstone Valley Prep Mayoral Academy is seeking Teaching Fellows with a focus on math to join our diverse, equity-driven team. Fellows rotate through teaching and support roles across designated schools, delivering rigorous lessons and maintaining classroom culture.

Qualifications

• Degree in mathematics (or related field) or 2 years of math teaching experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 2-year associate degree or 60 credits required.
• Bilingual candidates preferred but not required.
• Commitment to working with a diverse student and staff population.

Responsibilities

• Rotate into various teaching and support positions within a designated school, though this role will be primarily focused on math instruction.
• Execute academically rigorous lessons plans and administer directives with fidelity and efficiency.
• Implement classroom management practices that are consistent with the culture of the school.
• Give and receive constructive feedback from teachers and administration to foster professional growth.
