Job summary

Discovery Ranch is seeking a dedicated Secondary Math Teacher to join our residential program for boys aged 13-18. This part-time role features evening hours (Mon-Thu, 3:30-8:30 pm) and a pay rate of $20-25/hour DOE, in a therapeutic educational setting in Utah.

Responsibilities include teaching Algebra and Geometry, designing individual lesson plans, implementing engaging methods, assessing progress, and collaborating with staff to support student growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field required.
• Valid Utah Secondary Mathematics teaching certification required.
• Previous experience teaching secondary math preferred.
• Strong knowledge of current teaching strategies in mathematics.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
• Able to clearly explain complex math concepts to adolescents.
• Passion for helping students grow academically and personally.

• Teach secondary math classes (Algebra, Geometry, and related topics) to grades 7–12.

Requirements
