MSAD 6 – Bonny Eagle High School is seeking a dynamic Long Term Substitute Math Teacher to join the instructional staff. The assignment begins around 01/19/2027 and continues through approximately 05/10/2027.

The successful candidate will create a flexible instructional program and foster a positive learning environment, establishing rapport with students and parents, and motivating learners to achieve academic growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related field required.
• Maine Department of Education certification with #020 endorsement required.
• Experience with middle/high school students and mathematics instruction preferred.

MSAD 6 is seeking a dynamic Long Term Substitute Math Teacher to join the instructional staff at Bonny Eagle High School . The assignment will begin around 01/19/2026, until approximately 5/10/2027.The successful candidate will create a flexible instructional program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; establish effective rapport with students assigned to the classroom; motivate pupils to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to ensure that effective learning occurs for each child; and respond to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding instructional programs and student progress.
Applicants for this position must have degree(s) required in major area of study; Maine Department of Education certification with a #020 endorsement; experience related to the instruction of students of similar age and in the subject area(s) to be assigned; demonstrated positive, professional relationships with students and colleagues; and evidence of a strong desire to work with school-age youth.
