Job summary

Carney, Sandoe & Associates is seeking Math Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year in the San Francisco area. The role involves developing and delivering engaging math lessons, preparing plans and assessments, and collaborating with faculty to align with curricula.

Qualifications

• Prior experience teaching math at middle or high school level, preferably in private/independent schools.
• Ability to design and deliver hands-on experiments.
• Experience with advanced courses (AP/IB) may be a plus.
• Strong understanding of math concepts and clear explanations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an orderly classroom and address student behavior while promoting respect.

• Provide timely feedback and offer office hours or mentoring for students needing extra help.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience teaching math at the middle or high school level, particularly in a private or independent school setting, is preferred.

• In-depth understanding of math principles, theories, and concepts.
• Ability to explain complex topics clearly and in an engaging manner.
• Proficiency in laboratory practices and safety protocols.
