Job summary

Fusion Academy is a private, fully accredited school offering 1-to-1 instruction for grades 5–12. As a Math Teacher, you’ll design creative lessons, shape your schedule, and collaborate with passionate colleagues dedicated to personalizing education—academically, socially, and emotionally.

You’ll mentor students, track progress, communicate with families, and contribute to campus culture while growing professionally through ongoing development and reflection.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or credential is a plus.
  • Ability to teach a wide range of math courses; curriculum provided.
  • Experience with students with learning differences and social-emotional needs.
  • Mentoring experience and passion for social-emotional learning.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Willing to adapt in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
  • Florida residents require level 2 background screening.

As a Math Teacher, you’ll have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues. Please note: Not all campuses serve grades 4 and 5, and specific details will be shared during the interview process.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of math courses (Basic, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Integrated, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Business & Consumer Math, and Calculus), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
  • Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
  • Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
  • Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
  • Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
