Job summary

Fusion Academy, a private school offering 1-to-1 instruction for grades 5–12, is seeking a Math Teacher. You will design personalized lessons, tailor assessments, and mentor students while collaborating with a dedicated team to foster academic and social-emotional growth.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree; advanced degrees or a teaching credential are a plus. You’ll work with diverse learners and engage families to support student success.

As a Math Teacher, you’ll have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues. Please note: Not all campuses serve grades 4 and 5, and specific details will be shared during the interview process.

What You’ll Do:
  • Teach in a truly personalized way — one student at a time.

  • Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus culture.
  • Keep student records accurate and organized.
  • Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of math courses (Basic, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Integrated, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Business & Consumer Math, and Calculus), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
  • Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
  • Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
  • Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
  • Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.

USD $32.00 - USD $32.00 /Hr.
