• Valid Secondary Michigan Teaching Certification (Grades 6-12) required
• Math Major required, must be endorsed in Mathematics (EX)
• Must meet Michigan Highly Qualified Teacher standards in respective subject areas - successful MTTC scores required.
• Willingness and ability to work cooperatively on a teaching team.
• Credential file documentation of successful attainment, excellent student teacher and/or teaching experiences.
• Knowledge and interest in common assessments/teaching methods necessary.
• Candidates interested in sponsoring extra-curricular activities preferred.
• Computer/Technology knowledge such as Microsoft Office, Internet, E-Mail, Creation of web pages, on-line grading program, etc. required.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
