What you can expect from us.
The Opportunity
The High School Math Teacherwill provide academic, emotional, and physical services for students who require additional support to thrive in school. They will conduct frequent and appropriate assessments, use data to develop and implement instructional plans, and collaborate with school personnel and families to drive outcomes. Every child deserves to reach their full potential, and we’re looking to hire an exceptional teacher who will play an essential role in fueling student success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Qualifications
Ability to run short distances and move swiftly in response to student needs, including bending, kneeling, and crouching.
Ability to lift and assist students with mobility challenges, often requiring the handling of up to 50 pounds or more.
Skill in managing fine motor tasks, such as helping students with writing, manipulating small objects, or using adaptive devices.
Ability to operate a computer or tablet for up to 8 hours daily.
Capacity to remain calm and composed during physically and emotional demanding situations, ensuring student safety and well-being
