Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is seeking STEM or/and Math tutoring specialists to work with students in grades 9-12. This part-time role offers remote work with California-based opportunities and flexible scheduling.

Each tutoring session lasts 60 minutes, with 4–10 hours of assignments per week. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree and have 2+ years of experience teaching or tutoring grades 9–12 in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or AP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ability to teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics or AP equivalents OR Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calc, Calculus for grades 9-12.
• 2+ years of experience as grade 9-12 teacher or tutor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote tutoring sessions for grades 9-12.
• Adapt lessons to Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Math/AP topics as needed.

The Position:

• Provide remote tutoring support to students in grades 9-12
• Tutoring sessions last 60 minutes
• 4-10 hours per week of assignments

Requirements

• 4-10 hours per week of availability
• An earned Bachelor's
• The ability to teach one or more of the following for grades 9-12: Biology, Chemistry, Physics or the Advanced Placement counterpart to those subjects -OR- Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calc, Calculus
• Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background and >2 years of experience as grade 9-12 teacher or tutor
