Job summary

The Home for Little Wanderers' Clifford Academy in Walpole, MA, is seeking a Licensed SPED Teacher (Mathematics) to deliver individualized instruction under Chapter 766. You will implement IEPs, support students across varying academic levels, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to plan education, therapy, and progress reporting.

Under the Principal, you will maintain a safe classroom, complete required documentation, and engage families in educational activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and knowledge in Mathematics.
• Master’s Degree in Education preferred.
• Massachusetts Educator Licensure required.
• Special Education license desired.
• Computer literate including Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new software applications.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized educational programs and IEPs for students.
• Manage classroom behavior and crisis intervention.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and document progress reports.
• Maintain a safe, orderly classroom environment.
• Communicate with families and involve them in the educational program.
