Job summary

St. Joseph School Cockeysville is seeking an experienced, part-time Math Specialist for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong math instruction knowledge, with PreK-8 teaching experience, and will assess instructional strategies and curriculum to help students reach their potential.

The position is part-time with a schedule on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Math, MSDE certification, and strong communication and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• MSDE certification required.
• Knowledge of technology integration and its effective use in the classroom.
• Knowledge of curriculum, instructional methods and strategies, and differentiated instruction.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.

Responsibilities

• Implement the mathematics curriculum.
• Provide small-group instruction to elementary students to increase math fluency.
• Maintain effective classroom management and perform all duties assigned to this position.
• Participate in all faculty meetings and school activities.
• Collaborate with school leadership and faculty to foster a positive school culture throughout the building
