Job summary

St. Joseph School Cockeysville is seeking an experienced, part-time Math Specialist for the 2026-2027 school year.

The successful applicant should demonstrate a strong knowledge of mathematics instruction and have teaching experience in a PreK-8 environment. Responsibilities include assessing instructional strategies, evaluating curriculum, and ensuring that students reach their full potential, particularly those who require advanced or remedial instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• MSDE certification required.
• Knowledge of technology integration in the classroom.
• Knowledge of curriculum, instructional methods and strategies, and differentiated instruction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement the mathematics curriculum.
• Provide small-group instruction to elementary students to increase math fluency.
• Maintain effective classroom management and perform all duties assigned to this position.
• Participate in all faculty meetings and school activities.
• Collaborate with school leadership and faculty to foster a positive school culture throughout the building
