Job summary

Appoquinimink School District seeks a Math, Special Education Teacher with a Special Education certification to join our team. Under the principal and supervisor of Special Education Services, you will provide direct instruction to students with disabilities and support IEP goals in collaboration with the general education teacher.

You will design evidence-based instruction, monitor student progress, and coordinate with paraprofessionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• State of Delaware teacher certification in Special Education.
• Thorough knowledge of IDEA and IEP implementation.
• Demonstrate knowledge of subject content and curriculum.
• Ability to apply current research to instructional programs.
• Skilled in using multimedia and technology to enhance learning.
• Ability to collaborate with students, peers, admins and parents.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
