Job summary

TPAPT is seeking affirming educators to tutor students in grades 9-12 at our learning center in Hingham, MA. The role offers in-person, 1:1 tutoring with sessions lasting 60-90 minutes and a flexible schedule of 3-12 hours per week, primarily after school and some summer mornings.

A Bachelor’s degree is required, with strong communication and subject-matter expertise. Compensation starts at $40+ per hour and varies by education, experience, and availability, with curricula for SAT/ACT provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience teaching or tutoring preferred but not required.
• Ability to teach subjects to a diverse range of students.
• Exceptionally strong and clear communicator.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person 1:1 tutoring sessions to students in grades 9-12 at the learning center in Hingham, MA.
