Palm Beach State College is seeking a Learning Lab Coordinator in Mathematics to oversee the tutoring lab operations, coordinate staff scheduling, and develop lab materials aligned with course syllabi. You will train staff, mentor tutors, and liaise with department chairs to support student success.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least two years of tutoring/education experience. A hybrid work option and PBSC benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject area (Math, Physics, Science, or related field).
• Two years of related experience (teaching, tutoring, training, or adult education).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the tutoring lab and programs within the discipline.
• Develop, evaluate, and order lab materials and resources; ensure accuracy of information.
• Supervise staff, provide training, and coordinate scheduling and lab orientation.
• Collaborate with faculty and department chairs to design and implement professional programming.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and travel to relevant trainings as needed.
