Job summary

Mathnasium Center Director is seeking a full-time Center Director in San Diego to lead day-to-day operations, drive enrollments, and supervise staff. You will market the program, build school and community relationships, monitor center metrics, and develop customized student learning plans to support student success.

We value a passion for math and leadership experience; a math literacy test is part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Previous Mathnasium experience preferred.
• Previous management or leadership experience.
• Previous customer relationships & sales experience preferred.
• Passion for math and working with students.
• Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance various leadership responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations in the center
• Conduct sales by promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students
• Screen, hire, train, and schedule employees
• Lead and motivate team members by developing them professionally and personally
• Market the Mathnasium program by building school and community relationships
• Monitor and grow overall center performance metrics, including profitability and student success
• Identify student needs and opportunities and develop customized student learning plans
