• Assessments: Plans diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments to monitor student learning.
• Anticipation: Anticipates misconceptions and develops strategies to overcome them.
• Lessons: Designs lessons with clear, measurable goals aligned with standards and expedition outcomes.
• Engagement: Designs relevant lessons that motivate all students and engage them in active learning.

• Differentiation: Differentiates for all learning needs and interests.
• Environment: Uses room setup and displays to maximize learning.
