Job summary

Mathnasium of West Linn is seeking a Math Instructor / Tutor to join our after-school program. You will teach in-center and online using the Mathnasium Method™, work with small groups, and help students master math concepts from basic through Algebra I.

We offer part-time hours after school and on weekends, a supportive team culture, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement with a commitment to student success.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for math and ability to teach
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
• Willingness to learn and be trained
• Proficiency in algebra through Algebra I

Responsibilities

• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method and teaching practices
• Collaborate with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes

• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes

As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
