Job summary

Mathnasium Learning Centers in Saginaw, TX is seeking enthusiastic part-time Instructors to teach math to K-12 students using the Mathnasium Method™. You will work in-center and/or online with a supportive team to deliver personalized instruction.

Ideal candidates have a passion for math, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn. Training is provided, and advancement opportunities exist in a collaborative, student-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through Algebra I.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™ and teaching practices.
• Deliver individualized instruction in a group setting with teammates.
• Assess students’ progress and engagement during sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.

What you will do as an Instructor:

• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes

• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I

As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
