Mathnasium of Davis County is seeking a passionate Math Instructor/Tutor to help students in K-12th grade understand and master mathematics through the Mathnasium Method. You will deliver engaging, individualized instruction in a group setting after school and on weekends, while maintaining a supportive classroom environment.

We offer a flexible part-time schedule, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement as you grow with us. A positive, student-focused attitude is essential.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Actively encourage, motivate, and engage with students during the instructional session.
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Correct student work and provide positive, constructive feedback.
• Manage student behavior to create a positive environment that optimizes learning.
• Maintain a growth mindset toward student learning and teaching practice.
• Assist in non-teaching tasks, which may include cleaning, administrative assistance, or other duties as assigned.

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Additional Info

• Scheduling is flexible, and we are more than happy to work with school and other work schedules.
• Instructors are paid from $12-$15 depending on experience, education, and math skills. There are opportunities for advancement into other positions- e.g., Lead Instructor.
