Job summary

Mathnasium of Mathnasium (ID: 2418601) seeks a part-time Math Instructor/Tutor to teach K-12 students using the Mathnasium Method. You will deliver in-center and/or online instruction, collaborate with teammates, and monitor student progress after school and on weekends.

The role emphasizes a passion for math, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn, with training provided and opportunities for advancement within a supportive center environment.

Qualifications

• Must be available at least 3 days per week during center hours (2:30 PM–7:00 PM).

What you will do as a Math Instructor / Tutor:

• Teach in‑center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes

What we are looking for in a Math Instructor / Tutor:

• Passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to learn and be trained
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra 2
• Must be available at least 3 days per week during center hours (Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–7:00 PM)

As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
