Job summary

A leading educational service provider in Lafayette, California seeks instructors to teach K-12 students using the Mathnasium Method. The role offers a rewarding opportunity, consistent part-time hours after school and on weekends, and a fun, supportive work culture. Ideal candidates should have a passion for math, excellent interpersonal skills, and be eager to learn and grow. Compensation is between $17.00 and $20.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary, but a passion for math and students is essential.
• Must have exceptional math skills up to at least Algebra I.

Responsibilities

• Teach using the Mathnasium Method in-center and online.
• Work collaboratively with team members for individualized instruction.
• Assess students’ learning progress during sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational tools.

What you will do as an instructor:

• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
