Job summary

Mathnasium LLC. in Kensington, MD is seeking an enthusiastic part-time instructor to tutor students in grades 1–12 using the Mathnasium Method™.

The position offers flexible after-school and weekend hours, comprehensive training, ongoing development, and opportunities for advancement in a supportive, collaborative learning environment. Applicants must complete a math literacy assessment and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center and via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
