Job summary

Mathnasium of Denville is seeking a part-time Math Instructor to teach and tutor students using the Mathnasium Method. Sessions can be in-center, online, or hybrid, with a team-focused environment that emphasizes student confidence in math.

As a Math Instructor, you will engage 2nd–12th grade learners, receive ongoing training, and have access to curriculum and instructional tools. Flexible after-school and weekend hours support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to connect with learners.
• Willingness to learn and be trained in teaching practices.
• Strong math competency through Algebra I or higher.
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks during tutoring sessions.

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method and teaching practices.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment.
