Job summary

Mathnasium of CARSON is seeking engaging math instructors to join our team and help students succeed. You will teach math to students in grades K–12 using the Mathnasium Method, in a supportive, low-stress environment.

We welcome college students, recent grads, high school seniors, and experienced tutors. The role offers flexible scheduling, paid training, and opportunities for advancement as you gain valuable teaching experience in a vibrant learning center.

Qualifications

• Strong math skills through Algebra 2 or higher (Pre-Calc / Calc a plus).
• Great communication skills are essential.
• Previous tutoring, teaching, coaching, or mentoring experience preferred.
• Positive attitude, reliable, and able to follow Center procedures.

Responsibilities

• Teach math to students in grades K/TK–12, using the Mathnasium Method.
• Work with students in a low-stress, supportive environment.
• Help students build confidence and improve their problem-solving skills.
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.

What you will do

Schedule & Pay

• Part‑time: ~8–20+ hours/week
