Job summary

Mathnasium of Mathnasium (ID: 5400501) is seeking Math Instructors/Tutors for part-time roles after school and on weekends. The position offers opportunities to teach in-center or online using our established Mathnasium Method™, with a focus on individualized instruction within a supportive team.

Ideal candidates are passionate about math, possess strong interpersonal skills, and are eager to learn. Training is provided, and curriculum/tools are supplied to help you succeed in guiding K-12

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
• Math literacy test required as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-center and/or online using Mathnasium methods.
• Collaborate with team to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students' progress and engagement during sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.

What you will do as a Math Instructor / Tutor:

• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices


• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting


• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions


• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
