Job summary

Mathnasium of Denville is hiring Math Instructors to teach and tutor students using the Mathnasium Method™. You will work in-center, delivering individualized instruction in small groups and collaborating with a team to monitor student progress.

The role offers flexible, part-time hours after school and on weekends, with ongoing training, development opportunities, and a friendly, supportive workplace culture. Compensation is hourly and performance-based.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
• Willingness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Pre-Calculus.
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks.

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization.

Compensation: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour

Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
