Job summary

Mathnasium in North Carolina is looking for passionate Math Instructor / Tutors to teach and support students from 2nd to 12th grade. This part-time position offers flexible hours after school and on weekends in a fun, encouraging environment. You will be responsible for teaching using the Mathnasium Method, assessing students' progress, and collaborating with team members to provide effective instruction. Strong math competency up to Algebra I is required. Compensation is $20.00 per hour, and training is provided.

Job Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in‑center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
