A leading education center in Bakersfield is seeking passionate tutors to teach math to students in grades 2-12. This role offers flexible part-time hours after school and on weekends, providing a unique opportunity to transform lives through education. Qualifications

• Math competency at least through Algebra I.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Teach and tutor both in-center, online, and hybrid.
• Collaborate with team members for individualized instruction.
• Assess students' learning progress and engagement.
• Utilize digital educational materials effectively.
• Maintain a safe and professional learning environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
