Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics preferred.
• Candidates with Master's in other STEM fields and 18 graduate hours in Math/Stats will be considered.
• Commitment to quality instruction and student learning with technology in the classroom.
• Strong communication, organizational and human relations skills.
• Commitment to community college philosophy and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Effectively teach Math courses via face-to-face and online instruction.
• Responsible for student learning outcomes, continuous review, assessment, and development.
• Participate in academic and student enhancement activities, including student advising.
• Maintain and improve, through professional development, competence in discipline knowledge and instructional techniques.
• Participate in internal and external service activities (college committees, system committees, community relations).
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education

Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics

Graduate coursework in Mathematics/Statistics (18 hours)
