Central State University’s Department of Professional Education invites applications for a Math Instructor to support the Professional Education Program leading to Ohio teacher licensure. Qualifications

Master’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or related field.
Demonstrated successful teaching experience.
Knowledge of Ohio Learning Standards and evidence-based math instruction.

Responsibilities

Teach 30 credit hours per academic year, including mathematics content and pedagogy courses.
Assist with curriculum development and alignment with ODHE, Ohio Learning Standards, and CAEP.
Participate in assessment of student learning outcomes and program effectiveness.
Advise teacher candidates on academic progress and licensure requirements.
Engage in department, college, and university committees.
