Job summary

Mathnasium of Salinas is seeking part-time Instructors to teach and tutor K-12 math in-center using the Mathnasium Method. You’ll collaborate with a supportive team to deliver individualized instruction, assess student progress, and maintain a positive learning environment.

Ideal candidates show passion for math and teaching, excellent communication, reliability, and a desire to advance to leadership roles. Training and curriculum are provided, with flexible hours and a welcoming culture.

Qualifications

• Passion for and ability to work well with kids, including patience, empathy, and encouragement.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable talking with students and parents.
• Desire and ability to teach and help students succeed.

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center using the Mathnasium Method and teaching practices.
• Collaborate with team to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students' progress and engagement during sessions.
• Maintain a safe and professional learning environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks around the center.
• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians.
