Mathnasium in San Marino, CA seeks enthusiastic Math Instructors for the 2026-2027 school year. This in-person, part-time role offers comprehensive paid training, a supportive team, and opportunities for growth within the center.

Ideal candidates are finishing high school or recent graduates, with strong arithmetic skills and a passion for helping students build confidence in math. Availability for at least three weekdays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Within one year of earning your high school diploma.
• Strong arithmetic and Algebra I skills (math proficiency demonstrated via test).
• Excellent work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Passion for helping students succeed and build confidence in math.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Available to work at least 3 weekdays (4 preferred).
• Commitment to a minimum of six months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized math instruction using the Mathnasium Method.
• Support students from kindergarten through middle school with varying skill levels.
• Guide students through personalized learning plans and growth mindset.
• Monitor progress and communicate observations with leadership and fellow instructors.
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain instructional standards and support center operations.
