Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana's Bartholomew County Excel Center is seeking a Math Instructor to deliver engaging math instruction for adult learners, operating 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Thursday with flexible Fridays.

You design curricula, assess progress, collaborate with staff and the school director, and align lessons to Indiana standards. A Bachelor’s degree in the subject and Indiana Teaching Certification are required; benefits include full employee coverage.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in subject area and Indiana teaching certification.
• Experience with diverse learners and high school/adult education preferred.
• Ability to design and implement standards-aligned curricula.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements curricula and assessments that meet standards and measure progress toward mastery.
• Identifies and tracks student data to set goals and drive improvement.
• Builds strong relationships with students and communicates progress with staff.
• Communicates progress and uses restorative approaches to manage classrooms.
• Collaborates with school leadership to achieve graduation and postsecondary planning goals.
