Job summary

Mathnasium of Upper Arlington is seeking a friendly math instructor to join our in-center team. Teach math using the Mathnasium Method™, with no lesson planning and no stress, while helping K-12 students catch up, keep up, and get ahead.

Collaborate with a supportive team, assess progress, and motivate students with real-world examples. Flexible after-school and weekend shifts offer room to grow toward lead instructor roles.

Qualifications

• Strong math skills from Kindergarten through Algebra I (preference for higher levels)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for working with kids
• Ability to pass a background check
• Eagerness to learn and be trained
• Availability for 2+ afternoon shifts (Sun-Thur, 3-4hrs)
• All applicants must complete a math literacy test to demonstrate proficiency

Responsibilities

• Teach in-center using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Collaborate with the team to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students' progress and engagement during sessions
• Motivate students with real-world, fun examples
